You know what rocks? Actually interacting with other ryzing stars:

  1. Hi Jason,

I’ve never been described as a badass, but I’ll take it!

I recognize most here and am certainly flattered that you’ve included little old me in such great company. Very inspirational people here.

“The world doesn’t need More Info, or More Techniques, we need energy, confidence, faith, and a kick in the ass.”
–Agreed and I know someone named “J-Ryze” is providing this as well ;)

Thanks for the kind shout out, Sir!

  2. Alden :

    Thanks for the love Jason.

You’re frigging badass yourself! Let’s get this world ready…

  3. Wow… there is something very exciting about being sandwiched between Gary V and Ericka the Red… (inappropriate?)

Don’t know if I deserve to rock a list with such heavy hitting Creatives but I appreciate it and will do my best to push the cause…

    Keep killin’ it dude!

  4. Hi Jason,

Good list and all (that I know) very deserving of the mention :) I’ll definitely check out the ones that I didn’t know already…

  5. Howdy Jason….

Great list. Why aren’t you on it? :-)

Next time I’m looking for any of these guys, I’ll be coming back here first…. :-)

    Thanks for sharing… Eric

  6. Denise :

Jon Morrow has been the most inspiring to me on this list. It’s not just his success, he also just writes really well. He knows how to tell a story AND give value.. and proves that success is always possible if you WORK.

Honestly, the one blog I can’t live without is Seth Godin. The man gives value in few words.. and never misses a day… that’s hard to duplicate.

Second to Seth would be Leo from Zen Habits. I just feel at peace after I read his posts. Peace is priceless.
Denise is sharing: Write Your eBook in 90 DaysMy Profile

    • HEheh… I think a lot of people feel that way about Jon.

I’m a huge fan of Seth as well, and I pay a lot of attention to his concise mastery of words. I don’t write such short snippets, but I still aim for impactful, brief copy.

I still treasure the panel I was on when Seth passionately shouted “BRILLIANT question Jason!” lol.

Leo… ah Leo. The enigma. The Time poster boy. What a guy :)

I could definitely add Seth + Leo to the list. You have to be badass to succeed as a blogger, or as anything, but I was mainly aiming for those youthful, on-the-edge personalities who’s brands reach out to the slang-speakers and youth, know what I mean?

Leo’s posts on goals are my fave :D Thanks soooo much for contributing, Denise!

      • Denise :

Whoaaa…. you are not going to say that Seth said that to you without also saying WHAT that question was! Not that I’m surprised… how many times have I told you – you know how to ask the right questions??! Exactly :)

I know you couldn’t list everyone.. and maybe Seth and Leo is just a give-in anyways.. good list!
Denise is sharing: Write Your eBook in 90 DaysMy Profile

        • Actually, I was gonna leave it hanging, but since you asked so enthusiastically…

The question I asked Seth Godin was this:

“Seth, is ‘mastery of personal comfort’ on ‘the edge’ a recipe for success?”

His response felt like he was digitally high-fiving me. lol.

During the same panel, Anissa Mayhew called me an asshole in response to another great question I asked :P

Ah, there’s another name to include!

Good stuff Jason & I love that I know a lot of these bloggers, but there are several I don’t know. I’ll definitely need to check them out!

You said it well when you said they all bring passion to the table, something I’m definitely working on. I know my niche, I have an idea of what I want. My problem is focusing on it and not changing it up every other day! Then going full speed ahead, sticking with the game plan, being me, and bringing it. Thanks so much!

    Hey Ryze!

Nice!!! I’m psyched that I recognised a few. Aldan Tan’s. Ryan Hanley. Gary Vaynerchuk. Benjamin Jenks!! I stumbled over these guys but they left a big impression nonetheless. I think I’m going to enjoy discovering the rest.

  9. Alden :

    Jason,

I’ve a lot to thank you for, and it’s not just for putting me in this list. It’s a real honour.
