Note: Today’s post is by a friend of mine who’s spent quite a bit of time with me. He used to record a lot of my passionate words on video, and this is his first time sharing any of them. Take the time to comment, be gentle and give some encouragement to another member of Ryze.
There are many wealthy people in the world – more than ever before, actually. They all love money. This concept is pretty simple, "love money, deeply, and receive it in your life."
Anything you truly love, you get more of. Period.
It’s a great thought but how well do you know it? Do you live and breathe the phrase "I love money and it loves me"? Or is it more like something you love once in a while, the same way you think about rock-climbing or sky-diving, once in a while.
Your ability to appreciate money determines how much you’ll make.Let’s say you "know" this with your mind — the next question is… do you feel money so deep that you know it as love? Can you see the beauty, power, and spirituality of money?
When Bill and Melinda Gates donate billions towards curing diseases, can you see the love in that, or is it just some random idea to you?
Whatever your answers, no one’s judging you. No one’s picking on you. No one actually cares.
You and only you get to choose your attitude towards money. Attitude determines a LOT in this world, and you know if yours is absolutely thrilled about money, or shy and cowardly, or something in-between.
But you should know that "in-between" is not the most powerful place to be.
Anyway whether you love it or don’t, matters only as much or as little as you want financial success.
For me, I want it, very very badly. I don’t hide it. I have a desire, it’s pure, I embrace it.
And so I took a video of Jason Fonceca talking in his magically ryzing way about it, and I soaked in each and every morsel I could.
It’s epic, so what are you waiting for? Click play and start soaking it in.
[Editor's note: After this session, Arthur grew a ton, and if you were to talk with him about the subject of money now, you'd be stunned at the change.]
And…
There’s more:
So, that wraps it up for now.
I love all you video watchers and money-makers and ryzers out there.

The whole concept behind this is that money is the highest, or one of the highest forms of love, and if people aren’t giving it to you… they don’t love you as much as you think, or you don’t love yourself enough to demand it.
Personally, I love money, and I adore it’s solid, specific, meaningful love

This whole post hints about something deeper, about having integrity on money. It’s a stand and if you don’t know where you are standing, then the people around you will be in your way, rather than helping.
I hate that. And I love the opposite.
Someone who knows “everything and everybody in my life helps everybody make money or moves out of my way” knows they are demonstrating their gifts out into the world in much more expressive ways, powerfully.

Thank you so much for coming back to the discussion and speaking up, Denise.
You’ve outlined the EXACT attitude I aim to encourage.
See every human as valuable. Judge them not by their current circumstances or long history of ‘whatever’, but get in tune with your heart, mind, and senses and trust what your gut feeling tells you about them.
There’s a giant difference between someone who’s lived life, made the tough calls, and is ready to die to help you, and someone who’s barely alive, living in fear and focused on money/survival/time, etc.
There’s a giant difference between a true alpha-male and a ‘small player’ — and that’s an attitude. That’s something inside, and it’s more valuable than all the money in the world.
People bump into it and brush by it everyday in certain celebrities or friends or family — do we judge the value, or do we recognize it?
You clearly have an attitude of recognizing value, mad respect miss.
And now, if you were to cut and paste all the gold lines and wisdom everyone has shared in this comment thread, you could create an entire new post.
I am so blessed that this conversation took place on Ryze, and so blessed that Arthur caught me on camera.

Arthur / Jason,
I firmly believe that those that seek money make money…
However, the pursuit of money is treacherous path filled with many ways to have the rug pulled out from under you. It is my humble opinion that pursuit of wealth should be views as spoils provided MAX VALUE.
Own Value… Live Value… Deliver Value at every turn and you’ve insulated yourself from Haterz and others that look to keep you down.
More of an additional thought than a difference in opinion…
Great stuff though… Always look forward to your work!!

You know, this, to me is one of the most vibrant and alive discussions on the net about a subject most people are neurotic and fearful about. In fact, I’m surprised more people didn’t share this one (scared, guys? Too hot to handle?
)
Thank you so much for weighing in, you’ve brought up something important, just like Peter did, that I didn’t cover in the article:
What I’m talking about here is NOT even close to “seeking” money.
It’s about LOVING money.
I *LOVE* the beauty of flowers and sunsets, but I don’t seek them. (and surprise, they show up everywhere.)
)
I *LOVE* radiant, beautiful, sexual women, but I’m not chasing them. (and I’ve been blessed to be with many.)
I *LOVE* money, prestige, and wealth, but I don’t pursue them. (and more comes every day
Money is love – someone gave me a prayer by that title several years ago that I just keep re-reading. One of the lines in it is “teach me to see money as energy that can be transformed into love” – very in sync with what you shared. And I love what you’re saying and the passion and integrity and DNA in which you share it. I love the concept of the way you document it all – truly – just pure and honest. If I had a vote or a “say” (or suggestion) I’d go for less background volume (so a quieter coffee shop perhaps) so I could focus even more intently on the heartfelt messages you’re delivering so I can get every ounce of it!
Wow Denise, that is some high praise, thank you for your comment!
And sharing your quote!
I’d say whoever delivered the prayer to you about money was putting money in your pocket
I love being appreciated for my honesty, and to be honest I’m about ready to make a post that’s more honest than anything I’ve ever written, and this is super-awesome-encouragement.
Thanks for the suggestion about the quieter location – I’m definitely on it – though sometimes we’re just being ourselves and as Jason starts speaking, I cut him off and say, “SEC! Let me roll out the camera, I KNOW people are going to love this!”
Thanks again for the comment

Jason “J-Ryze” Fonceca is sharing: Painful Withdrawal From A Different Kind Of Addiction
Hi Arthur,
Great. That simple
The first video was great and inspiring. But the one question that I always find myself asking when someone talks about money that way, came to me again: How much money do you make (Jason)? I totally realize that wasn’t the point of the video and I don’t expect or need to know the answer. I just think that’s the question people, who currently aren’t as wealthy as they’d like to be, ask when someone talks so positively about money. (And yes, currently I’d love to make a little more money
)
Anyway, the first video in this post, is so far the best thing I’ve read/watched in ryzeonline
Thanks.
Peter Sandeen is sharing: Potatoes – The Great Time Management Teachers
Donald Trump was almost bankrupt 4 times, but he always loved money like Jason did in that video. If you said “Donald, how much are you making?” he’d have to tell you the truth and say he was bankrupt, or he’d lie and say “s***loads” — but does it matter? Do you really wanna force someone who LOVES money like Trump to answer you?
Most people hang around so many neurotics with so many issues about money, and everyone can tell when someone loves it for real — who do you wanna hang around, and what kind of conversations do you wanna have with them? You get to choose.
If you can only ‘connect’ with someone when they’re loaded, that’s your deal.
On that note though, I will say this: Jason charges $500.00 / hr for consulting, and people are overjoyed to pay it. The How To ‘Be Real’ Blueprint is a $5000.00 product and people are lined up to purchase already.
RyzeConnect is sharing: Ryze’s Best Of Success – March 2012
As I said in my comment, “I don’t need to know” because I can see he “loves” money. That wasn’t my point. But I can now see my point didn’t come across. I meant: when you say something like that (“you should love money” or “love money and you’ll get more of it” etc.) you’ll raise the question, “Does that really work? I love money but I’m broke.” among many people. To better influence those people I believe you should somehow address that question (not necessarily by answering it with a number, but explaining clearly why the answer isn’t necessary…).
Sorry for being unclear…
Peter Sandeen is sharing: Potatoes – The Great Time Management Teachers
Peter, this is a GREAT discussion, and one I think helps everyone. You were totally
My point is –
Drop the questioning and the proving.
Be a scientist. Take control of your life. Most people spend TONS of time trying technique after technique to ‘make money.’
Some work, some work a bit, some don’t at all.
Why not try — and I know this is crazy — LOVING money.
You’ve just seen an example of it. And there’s more. You know who else loves money? Jay-Z, Trump, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and if you ask Danny Iny, I’d bet he loves money too.
You said that’s a question on people’s minds, and I’m not surprised — my point is — that question is killer. That question is ruining their wealth. If I answer it or encourage it, I’m not helping them.
What helps them is this:
Don’t wait for Jason or Arthur to *prove* “loving money” works for you — instead join some people who are trying something that shines through clearly.
Join people who love money.
Every second people delay or want it “proved that it really works” or doubt or question instead of trying it… I say, is a moment you’re holding back your progress and financial success.
Or you know… keep trying whatever the next marketing blog post tells ya.
P.S. It’s not something you can half-ass, you can’t love it just for a second to prove me wrong, you have to live and breathe and love it, like you love good meals or close friends. You never stop loving those things, you love ‘em for real.
Jason “J-Ryze” Fonceca is sharing: Painful Withdrawal From A Different Kind Of Addiction
Hi Jason,
This all is an extremely powerful post and discussion. Great job about a topic that others view as taboo and shouldn’t be talked about. Money makes the world go round. There are many ways to achieve success (which is being paid for what you are so passionate about i.e. your niche) but one has to have respect for money, otherwise it will eat you up. Donald Trump has a passion and respect for money. If he did not, he probably would have thrown in towel after the first bankruptcy.
I agree with Peter, what your last comment was is what I was looking for in the video. It finished what you were trying to say and gave clarity to the video. I feel the only reason it was overlooked was because you were so passionate about the issue. Thanks for the clarification.
Jason’s quote: “Join people who love money” Exactly! Surround yourself with people who are successful in what they do. Learn from those people. Knowledge is key to any niche before success and money come your way. Don’t buy into the “next big thing” that supposedly will bring you overnight success. It’s all hype, you will have spent your hard-earned dollars on wishful thinking and find yourself completely dissappointed. Educate yourself on whatever you are passionate about, work constantly on whatever you are passionate about (go back to the video and listen to Arthur about dance), have respect for what you are passionate about, and don’t let the nay-sayers stop you or slow you down. It takes time but the success will come.

Passion, love and respect for money — it sounds so simple, but it’s surprisingly rare.
And life can never really be summed up in one blog post — if I leave something out, it doesn’t mean I don’t know it or understand it, it just means it’s gonna be an awesome addition, one that Peter so smoothly brought to the surface.
So glad you’re feelin’

Rock on and ryze up, D!
Well said, Arthur!
Really well said
I’ll weigh in too, Peter brings up a really interesting point:
Any time I encounter the question “how much do you make”, I always transform it to “how much are you On Your Way To Making?”
If I meet a homeless guy— is he worthless, with nothing to offer? Or is he a very powerful human being who ABOUT to make it big? Eckhart Tolle and Joe Vitale were both homeless, but brilliant men, and if anyone walked up to them and was like “How much are you making?” they’d definitely not make a friend, and a month or two later when Eckhart and Joe hit it big, how do you think it felt for everyone involved?
Peter, I could ask for your income statements and tax documents, or I could ask “how much are you capable of making? How much are you GOING to make shortly?”
It comes down to — do I write you off as someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about and make you prove you love money, or do I see you as a money-master in the making who clearly has the right attitude?
Which view do you prefer? Do you like being around a community of people who see you as a baller, or would you rather I focus on your current (possibly shitty) life circumstances?
There’s a ton of blogs on the net to spend time on, but not all of them love money like RYZE

Jason “J-Ryze” Fonceca is sharing: Painful Withdrawal From A Different Kind Of Addiction
Hi Jason,
As I just replied to Arthur, my point really wasn’t about how much you make or will make. But instead about the explanation I think you should’ve given in the post (which you now wrote in this comment).
I cannot say I’m not biased about people’s income (I’ll act differently around wealthy people and homeless people), even though I do my very best not to change my behavior. But I’m all for the question, “How much are you capable of making?” It says so much more about a person then their current income. I’m really happy to know people who “love” money like you do

Peter Sandeen is sharing: Potatoes – The Great Time Management Teachers
Amen to that, Peter. I feel a lot of people would benefit from a positive, appreciate, deeply loving attitude towards the beauty of money and how far it has taken and continues to take humanity.
I’ve been wealthy *and* homeless, and experiencing both those things and really helps me be unbiased.
I’m glad we’re in agreement about empowering questions and improved focus!
I see it as one of (maybe *the*) most tangible, solid, real, specific, clear forms of love and I love for it to flow
Quite the discussion, fellas…
When I meet a person, and I’m personally affected by what value they bring into the world, that’s all I need to know – not the size of their paycheck. And everything I’ve read on Ryze and any conversation I’ve had with Jason has been valuable.

Hi Arthur and Jason. I’m liking it but still feel conflicted about the loving money thing. Maybe it’s my upbrining. I was taught not to “worship” money but yes, I do really like money. Money buys freedom, it allows you to help other people, it takes away a lot of worries. Does loving money mean you attract money? I’m still lost on the process a bit. I’m going to read your “money” tutorials and some of the others so I can make the link but if you have any other guidance I’d love to hear it! I love the videos – keep it coming?

All good, Tom. And I really appreciate your honesty here. This is how forward progress is made on important topics, and besides, isn’t it a breath of fresh air from another post that says you need to “know your market” ?
Does loving money attract more of it? You tell me.
-A young photographer loves flowers – do they get tons in their life?
-A mid-age Hugh Hefner loves naked women (so do I) – does he get more?
-An old Colonel Sanders loves serving people chicken enough to go through 1009 rejections, does he get more?
People who love something the most, attract it the most.
People who love something a lot, attract a lot.
People who love something a little… well.
You can see this easily in children, out of every topic, interest, or hobby under the sun, the one they love most they’ll end up with tons of it (unless they stop loving it so much.)
It really, really is about trying it.
Most people will spend their year trying So. Many. Things. to make money.
But those same people shy away and resist and feel uncomfortable when you suggest a deep, true, LOVE for money.
Let me ask you — what does more good in the world, a middle-class Tom Treanor, barely able to bring his ideas to life, or a rich Tom Treanor, able to create a movement… fast, with the power of money.

Thanks for the post Jason / Arthur. Money is definitely one of those not talked about enough topics. We need money to live & we all have different relationships with it for sure. Some good, some bad, but I agree that you have to have a growth mindset when it comes to making money if you in fact want your money to grow. I love the quote Denise used & I think that’s an important concept. Money on it’s own can make you happy for a time but it doesn’t bring you joy. Doing good things with it does. You have to be smart with it. Again, good stuff. It’s something that should be talked about more!

Hi Arthur and Jason,

Thank you for this useful video. You share a very interesting point of view. Yes, there are many successful entrepreneurs who succeed exactly because they are smart and they love money. I totally understand your way of thinking Arthur. I just want to add that as human beings we also need to love other things apart money. We need to have education and values because if we only love money we may have a quite egoistic attitude.
Off course, I also want to have money because money will give me freedom (as you mention) and flexibility. I will be able to do whatever i dream. But I believe that the most important thing in life is health because without health we can’t really enjoy our money

Jason “J-Ryze” Fonceca is sharing: I Just Wanna Be F-ckin’ Happy
I have a weird relationship with money. My family comes from plenty of it. Their lifestyles have always creeped me out a bit … spend, spend, spend … they only seem happy for the moments, literally moments after they purchase something.
It’s odd. But, on the flip side, I love things now and then … I love being paid for my work and I love selling things that I made with my brain. So loving money is a weird way to put it … but I guess, eh?

Lizzie, that is a pretty interesting background, and I love your conclusion, because it shows that background doesn’t really matter – the conclusion’s the same.
Not only that… my real point, the core, isn’t that we should love money… it’s that Money IS Love.
It’s an expression of love, like a hug.
People can give fake, shitty hugs – a poor expression of love, or they can give passionate one’s.
Same with spending

Hey Jason & Arthur,
I had to sit on this one for a bit. Ok, so, I hear what you guys are saying and I love how you take Taboo topics and speak your truth about them. I also love how you challenge my thoughts and make me sit back and say, “hmmm.” You see, I, too (like Lizzie), grew up with money, but my family was all about not putting emphasis on that, giving money (love, but we didn’t put it that way) to those in need, and never taking it for granted, never flaunting, never acting better than anyone else. We never talked about how much money we had. We went through some stuff and lost it. Luckily, we grew closer as a family and still held true to our values that life not stuff, is what it’s about. I love money in that if I had a lot of it I could put food on the table for my kids without worry, provide for others that are in need, and do more for this world than I am doing. SO your post really really made me think and I am truly grateful! I still have some pondering and mindwandering to do…possibly a journal entry!! xoxo for now, Kate ps. LOVE The article, videos, YOU!!!

Money helps us live well and give well.
Whoever you can point out to me, the chances are very, very high that money would empower them to give well and live well.
It’s not for everyone, it’s not necessary for happiness, but in our current global state, it’s highly recommenced.
Love money as a tool, and flow it through your life with love
It helps us all
It’s so great to hear that you’re thinking more and deeper, shifting attitudes and looking at things in fresh ways. Feels fantastic, Kate!
